However the latest development is a plan to extend the current Playa Del Carmen dock in order to welcome mega yachts and even cruise ships.
The popularity of Playa Del Carmen has remained solid over the first months of 2017. Both Playa Del Carmen real estate and hotels have seen occupancy rates as high as 90%.
