Q.R. de Cancun — They have announced more direct flights from major Canadian cities to the Caribbean. Swoop just announced more routes to Mexico and the Caribbean from Hamilton, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Abbotsford.
Canada’s top ultra-low-fare airline, Swoop President Bob Cummings, is “thrilled” to increase wintertime flights to warmer climes.
“With winter weather upon us, demand for leisure travel to the south is reaching new heights and we are happy to accommodate that need with this additional capacity,” he continued.
Swoop is resuming many routes in January, including the previously suspended service from Toronto to Cancun. There will be eight weekly departures on the Toronto–Cancun route. The press statement did not specify a debut date for the revamp.
