In Quintana Roo the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Real Estate sector exceeds 25 percent, a figure that positions it as the state with the greatest development in this area in the whole country, said the Secretary of Sustainable Urban Territorial Development (SEDETUS), Carlos Ríos Castellanos, on the occasion of the “ IV Anniversary, Protest Taking of the National Board of Directors 2019-2021 and Graduation of the Eleventh Generation of the Diploma in Real Estate Marketing”.

During the event held at a hotel in Playa del Carmen, Ríos Castellanos, on behalf of Governor Carlos Joaquin, celebrated the IV Anniversary of the Mexican Association of the Real Estate Industry (AMII) ceremony, and later presided the “Swearing-in for the Board of Directors 2019- 2021, headed by incoming president Karla Paola Zaragoza Radilla.

The secretary of SEDETUS and the newly appointed president of the AMII handed out diplomas to members who completed the Diploma in Real Estate Marketing, in compliance with the provisions of the Law on Provision of Real Estate Services of the State and its Regulations.

This diploma is part of the Annual Training Program of SEDETUS, whose objective is the Certification and Enrollment of Real Estate Advisers, in order to provide clarity and legal certainty in all real estate transactions carried out within the state.

During his message, Ríos Castellanos said: “As a resident of Quintana Roo, I am very pleased that our state is still considered one of the fastest-growing regions in Mexico, whether in the generation of jobs, in the sustainable development of its land and especially in the development of new projects and real estate investments ”.

“-The real estate industry is essential to sustain, increase and consolidate the economic progress of Quintana Roo and its municipalities and, these achievements represent the generation of more sources of employment, job opportunities for all and a better quality of life for Quintana Roo families-“, said the head of SEDETUS.

The Director of Economic Development in the municipality of Solidaridad, Edgar Ordoñes Durán; the president of the Business Coordinating Council of the Riviera Maya, Lenin Amaro Betancourt and the vice president of the AMII, Héctor Aquiles González, were present at the event.
