Playa del Carmen, Q.R. – AMPI Playa del Carmen has a new president, whose goals for the real estate sector this year are to further strengthen the Real Estate Law, continuing to encourage real estate agents to become registered, which she claims, will provide security in response to the demands of the ever-growing market.
Leslie Suaste Ayala, the new director of the Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI) for Playa del Carmen 2020 has accepted her position, promising to endorse her commitment to the real estate sector by increasing the number of legal associates and providing informative meetings.
In order to make Playa del Carmen a reference in the real estate sector nationally and internationally, Suaste Ayala made it a point at her acceptance speech to acknowledge work in the past administration and advised agents to continue working in conjunction with each other.

Just days prior to the Quintana Roo Investment Summit 2020 Real Estate Expo occurs AMPI Playa del Carmen ushered in its new head, Suaste Ayala. AMPI’s board of directors from the state’s branches of Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Chetumal and Tulum will attend the summit which begins Wednesday.
The expo will include Secretaría de Desarrollo Territorial Urbano Sustentable (SEDETUS) and is located at the Cancun Convention Center, directed by Carlos Ríos Castellanos who aims to offer opportunities for the investment world by encouraging projects from urban infrastructure, energy tourism and more.
“This edition of real estate networking will be to promote and broaden the horizons and business visions of local and foreign entrepreneurs to attract more investments that consolidate the state as the most important economy in the country,” he said.
The Secretary of Sustainable Urban Development also made reference to the convention’s uniqueness with AMPI hosting and the vision of seeing the Mexican Caribbean is at the forefront of foreign investment, hailing Cancun as the business focal point.
