Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Statistics show that Playa del Carmen is one of the cities in the country that is seeing the most rapid population growth. According to Ivonne Aidé Vargas Esteban, who is in charge of the Solidaridad Population Statistics Unit, the city may surpass Cancun’s size in the future years.
