New All-Inclusive Resorts . Two of these five new resorts will open in June of this year. One is going to be a short eight minute drive away from the Cancun airport and is named Now Emerald Cancun Resort and Spa. There will be 427 guest rooms in total. The second resort is called Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort and Spa. This resort is in Akumal, a beach town just north of Tulum, and it will feature 360 guest rooms.
Later in the year, during the months of November and December, two more all-inclusive resorts will roll out. The first is Sunscape Star Cancun Resort and Spa, which is next to the Punta Cancun Golf Club. Following this one is Now Natura Riviera Cancun, featuring 556 guest rooms and an incredible water park. Finally, the fifth resort will open at the end of 2019 in Acapulco.
