Riviera Maya, Q.R. — There are now more direct flights to Quintana Roo because of the Tianguis Turístico 2023 event in Mexico City.
Governor Mara Lezama said that one thing the state did well at the fair was add a number of new flights. She says that the state was able to get Volaris to increase the number of five national flights.
She says that flights from BajÍo, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, and Querétaro are on the new schedule.
Viva Aerobus recently announced a flight from Quito to Cancun that will start on June 16. They also announced a new route from Los Cabos to Cancun that will start every day on May 18.
Also, the route between Toluca and Cancun will go from happening twice a week to happening three times a week. Aeroméxico has been running a route between Mexico City and Cozumel since March 26.
Tag airline said that it plans to grow its fleet and add a flight between Chetumal and Guatemala this year. The new company Aerus also said that it plans to start a route between Chetumal and Cancun.
