Cozumel, Q.R. — Nearly 120,000 Cozumel cruise passengers will visit the island this week. According to the Quintana Roo Integral Port Administration (Apiqroo), 37 cruise ships will bring 119,907 passengers to Cozumel between February 10 and 16. Cozumel Mayor José Luis Chacón Méndez praised the island’s ability to host so many cruise visitors, noting that it highlights the island’s reputation as a top cruise port. The influx begins with seven ships carrying approximately 18,464 passengers on Monday. Tuesday will see seven more ships arriving with 19,758 passengers. Wednesday will bring six ships, and Thursday will see five ships with 18,362 passengers. On Friday, five more ships will bring 19,109 visitors.

Saturday will be the busiest day, with six ships arriving, bringing 17,620 passengers. Sunday will be quieter, with one ship arriving and bringing 4,345 Cozumel cruise passengers.
