Riviera Maya, Q.R. The state’s Secretary of Tourism, Bernardo Cueto Riestra, says that the Quintana Roo group made deals with airlines and travel agencies.
On the second day of the biggest tourism market in the world, Cueto Riestra said that he and Javier Aranda Pedrero, the director of the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ), met with the directors of the voris agency, Expedia, Viajes El Corte Inglés, and the Spanish commercial airline World2Fly.
He emphasized that these strategic alliances will grow the tourist market in the Mexican Caribbean and create more jobs and a shared, sustainable economy, as set out in the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, which was pushed by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa.
Also, at the 43rd WTM London 2022, Bernardo Cueto and Blanca Merari Tziu Muoz, the mayor of Puerto Morelos, signed the first agreement to work together through the RETUR Q platform.
All of this will make it possible to improve, standardize, and update the tourist offer and give tourists a wide range of service providers.
At the 43rd World Travel Market, which was recently held in London, heads of cities and towns from the state were there, along with other representatives. The state of Quintana Roo took part to reach more people in the European market.
